Laser scanning and UAV mapping can create large, complex data that is difficult to manage. At Nexus 3D Consulting, we’ve invested in high-end processing machines that are dedicated to crunching data faster than the industry standard. We have experienced data professionals on staff to help maximize the power of our equipment, software, and workflow processes to turn your projects around quickly.

 

If you have the ability to capture your own data but don’t have the bandwidth to process it, you can upload it directly to our secure FTP and let our team handle the processing and deliver the final data back to you.

Laser Scanning Data Processing and Deliverables

 

Our primary processing software platforms for terrestrial laser scanning data are Faro Scene, Leica Cyclone, and Autodesk Recap. 

Laser scanning deliverable options include:

  • 3D model

  • CAD drafting

  • Individual registered scan files (native format or recap with bubble views)

  • Unified point cloud file, optimized and cleaned

  • Webshare cloud project hosting

UAV Data Processing and Deliverables

Our primary processing platform for UAV imagery processing is PIX4D. 

UAV deliverable options include:

  • Autodesk Recap point cloud file

  • LAS point cloud file

  • Mesh model

  • Orthographic image

  • Planimetric drawing

  • Surface model

  • Volumetric report
